Captain Malcolm Reynolds, otherwise known as Malcolm, was Nathan and I's second dog together. We previously owned his sister, Serenity, but lost her to Parvo at about six months of age. We contacted the breeder (after we disinfected our home and even relocated) and they had him remaining and was still looking for a home for him.
Malcolm is mostly my husband's dog, and was a very soft, biddable boy that would hang on your every word. He was very sweet, genuine, and probably my most mellow and laid back fellow. When we first got him, he did come with some baggage, due to little socialization outside of the breeder's home, but had overcome those small issues with no problem. While lack in the confidence department, he easily rebounds and makes up for it with his big desire to aim to please. |
